Thanks to some crafty baserunning from Bishop Fenwick’s Mia Mercurio, the North team rallied to salvage a hard-fought 5-5 tie in the 25th edition of the game. . Mercurio led off the inning with a walk, stole second and scored on two throwing errors. St Mary’s ace Anna Fringuelli (3-for-4, run, RBI) was named South MVP. Beverly’s Mya Perron hit a home run to earn North MVP honors.
